The case is hard enough to stop most shocks from getting to the printer. However, the printer is able to slide around inside the case too much for my comfort. I ended up wrapping the printer in a towel to fill up the excess space in the case.

Did you buy the Cannon Pixma iP110? This case is a must have if you did!! It is durable and the printer fits nicely. I would widen it to 8.75 inches if I were to design it so that my paper would fit in it without damaging it. Otherwise nice p

Case fits the printer perfectly, even with battery pack on.It did have a pretty odd smell on the inside when I first got it (not sure how to describe it, really), but it is slowly getting better (had it several months now).
